The Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (EPSO) is the voice of ophthalmology in Ontario. A section of the Ontario Medical Association, EPSO represents more than 450 of Ontario’s ophthalmologists.
Our vision is that all Ontario residents have access to, and receive, high quality eye care to preserve and restore their vision.
Membership in the Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (EPSO) is voluntary and open to any medical doctor who is:
- a member of the Ontario Medical Association,
- certified in ophthalmology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or
- currently enrolled in an ophthalmology residency in Ontario.
In joining the Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, you are supporting an organization that is dedicated to preserving and restoring the vision of Ontarians. You are supporting the creation of resources to help both new and established ophthalmologists to thrive. You are supporting a strong provincial voice for the profession. You are helping to foster a united community of ophthalmologists providing essential care to Ontarians.
The Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is the only organization in Ontario that represents your professional interests. Your financial support is critical in order to continue to ensure that the ophthalmology profession is protected and your voice is heard. As major changes continue to occur in Ontario’s medical and political landscape, EPSO is and will continue to be fully engaged on behalf of our specialty and the patients we collectively serve.
To become a member in good standing with EPSO, you are required to pay your membership dues in full. Click here to view EPSO’s Membership Policy.
